 | You will love our chickens. This is chicken how chicken is supposed to taste. Flavor, structure, tasting like garndmother's chicken many years ago. Nothing like that tasteless something you bought last time at the supermarket. Our farmers feed their chickens typically some grain bit mostly the chickens are busy scratching for bugs and worms somewhere around the farm. At night they are typically put up in old chicken coops (mine is at least a hundred years old and defenitey falling aprat) so that foxes, racoons and skunks can not get a hold of them. You will notice that each farm's chickens will taste a little different. This is not only a function of breeds, but mostly a function of diet. Each pasture is different! |
