The best tasting fruit has always come from Rappahannock County.  Rappahannock County used to have many apple orchards supplying the apple juice plants in Winchester and the people from the city with the best apples.  (Did you know that nowadays apple juice is typically made from apple juice concentrate imported from...... China?)  Today, there ara about four larger orchards (Williams, Jenkins, Moore, Lee) left in Rappahannock County which go many generations back.  In addition to many varieties of apples, they grow peaches, nectarines and cherries, which do surprisingly well in Virginia.  In fall, Williams Orchard carries self made cider which is a rarity nowadays.

Order a 1/2 bushel or so.  Apples stay surprisingly long good provided you store thema  little cold (in the refrigerator or in the basement).  You can never have enough apples, peaches and nectarines. And a lot cheaper than in the store as well. We hope you will enjoy the fruits of our bountiful lands!

Fruit will be available again late Summer-Fall.
